Every year over 100 million people die as a result of stress. Chronic stress is a major cause of many deadly conditions such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes and more. We stress about everything. Money, Fame, Acceptance! And then we fool ourselves in thinking we can manage or cope with stress through whatever means (addictions) . But the reality is, stress is a killer! It can’t be reasoned with, it can’t be bargained with, and it can’t be bought. The only way to permanently rid yourself of stress is to kill it before it kills you.

So now you’re probably asking yourself, how? How do I kill this vicious, heartless, thing that has claimed the lives of so many? How do I do it. Well I can tell you from experience it’s not about what you need to do, but more about what you need to become..

There are essentially 3 things you need to become to kill the beast called stress

The first of these three things is Healthy. And not just physical vanity healthy. But mind, body, and spirit healthy. Most of us know by now that being healthy is not a one size fits all proposition. And things that may work for some, may not necessarily work for others. Truly define what healthy means and is for you. Then pursue it as if your life depended on it, because it does.

You will know when you are on the right path as it will lead you to the next thing you need to become. And that thing is Wealthy. And, not just monetary wealth, but the wealth of understanding that you have the will and favor to attain abundance in all things. The wealth of understanding that you are not bound by your circumstances. And that pain, loneliness, and despair are all fleeting and temporary moments on your journey. See stress wants to control your mind so that it can render you powerless and devour your light. Don’t let it! Fight it with all that you are and step into the wealth of greatness that is you!

The final and most important thing you need to become to kill stress is something so powerful that once you become it you become unstoppable. And that thing is free. Become free to love and enjoy your life in every moment. Become free to find joy and piece in the seemingly insignificant. Become free to break the rules that say you can’t follow and achieve your dreams. These are the three things you need to become. And as you become them you will increasingly understand that good health and wealth are merely conduits for freedom. It is freedom that defines our identities. It is freedom that makes us feel alive. And it is only freedom that can truly kill the monster that is stress!
